What is the source on Ukranian troop numbers btw? Afaik, Ukraine has a larger amount of troops on the frontline rn, with a nearly 900k standing army.

Such useless war. The big difference compared to other where Russia been at war, like Georgia, is that now Ukraine got backup from EU & USA, without that backup in both military equipment and money, they would probably fall easy, because I dont think they had so much or modern equipment to begin with.
