      This is so weird and wrong in all bad ways. Imagine if an Irish city makes a Henry VIII square or a George III square in the United States anno 26.

      In Ghent they inaugurated a statue of Willem a few years ago. I know Willem did some good things for the city (like the founding of the university), but I always found it weird to put up a statue of a king you fought an independence war against.

      So the man who killed thousands of Belgians and ordered Antwerp to be bombed gets a statue, make it make sense
