Pelley wrote on Instagram, along with a photo of him looking elated at the helm of his sailboat:

      > “To all of you who have been so kind, you are the wind in my sails. So deeply grateful.”

Scott Pelley and the other recently departed from 60 minutes are the best in the business. A declining business. Ultimately, they were just “employees” of a very large corporation with many competing interests. The employees don’t get to dictate how a corporation should be run. I have worked for many large corporations , and Scott Pelley would have been fired in every one of them for his actions at that staff meeting.

Business men make fucked up decisions constantly and never face consequences for them because money.  Medias death is ramping up as the greed intensifies.

It’s all political. CBS is now in league with Trump. Keeping Pelley at 60 Minutes risks real investigative reporting taking place. Trump cannot withstand investigative reporting and that’s what Pelley delivered. Just like with Stephen Colbert, and other late night comedians, the media is bending over backwards to please Trump. CBS is the new Pravda.

Scott Pelley and Steven Colbert should crash the Daily Show’s studio while the Daily Show is filming. Just for funsies.

He’s a wonderful guy, played soccer with his son in high school. Talked to him after a few games, always super friendly. Wild that CBS is literally throwing in the towel on the programs that made them stand out
