Ich lebe also auf halber Höhe eines Berges in einem abgelegenen Teil von YangPyeong (ca. 1 Stunde östlich von Seoul). Sowohl meine Nachbarn als auch ich haben alle Vogelhäuschen. Es gibt hier draußen buchstäblich den ganzen Tag über wahnsinnig viele Vögel. Ich habe früher in Seoul gelebt, obwohl es zunächst Spaß macht, bin ich definitiv kein Stadtmensch. Wir tauschten buchstäblich die ganze Nacht lang die Hupen/Sirenen von Autos gegen das friedliche Geräusch von Vögeln und eine deutlich sauberere Luft ein.

Hey! I’m also in 양평, but closer to the „downtown“ area. Most of what I can hear are magpies shouting at everything. I prefer yours!
I hear it’s not uncommon to be living a good hour away from actual bustling cities. As someone who grew up and lived in cities all he’s life that’s hard to imagine for me. My cousins are farmers and they too only have to drive15 minutes to get to a downtown area.
