I’m confused, whats the proposed mechanism for right handedness being a result of bipedalism?
Is this real science? Are we sure this isn’t merely some psycho trying to bring back, left handedness is the devil?
I got curious if us left handers had lower IQs overall. [https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0149763417300210?via%3Dihub](https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0149763417300210?via%3Dihub)
It sounds like our IQs are slightly lower. Also, it’s believed that some of us are left handed due to brain damage so it goes to reason we’d have lower IQs overall. I am pretty sure I have brain damage, but my IQ isn’t particularly low. It may be the lowest in my family, however. My dad and my mom were both top of their classes. My father, in particular, claimed to have a genius level IQ. He did do very well in school and college, but I still have a little trouble believing it now because he just didn’t make very many smart decisions in life.
I was born premature, and I was given oxygen despite not needing it, which is now thought to cause brain damage. I have poor vision in my left eye. An eye doctor thinks I have brain damage, anyway. I would like to have my brain imaged. I always meant to volunteer for research that gets my brain imaged. Maybe I will someday, and I will find out I have half a brain or something. 😛
