      Isn’t that how First Past the Post works? If Democrats get 60% of the vote in Maryland, it makes sense for them to get 100% of the seats.

      Or does MAGA suddenly want proportional representation?

    6. Doing the tentacles out from the city thing is too obvious, whenever democrats try this it gets reversed.

      You need to gerrymander in a more subtle way.

    7. I find it somehow less than convincing that OP chooses to use 2016 prez election data. That was more than two presidential election cycles ago. Show me the same map with the same strength with ‘24 data.

      I’d like to see a gerrymander of every state going both ways just to see the wild maps

      I mean most of the Eastern ones have the Chesapeake Bay cutting them in half.
