man iceland just hits different with these moss covered landscapes. i remember driving through similar terrain few years back and feeling like i was in some fantasy movie or something. that green is so intense it almost looks fake but then you touch it and realize how thick and soft the moss actually is. the way water cuts through these valleys over thousands of years is just wild – you can almost see the geological story written in those cliff faces. camping there must be incredible with all the silence except for that river flowing, bet the acoustics are amazing too

Is this the trail that leads up to the man made concrete hot spring? It reminds you of a concrete pool. It was a gorgeous landscape and hike with magnificent sweeping views.
