The Trump administration has paused a $14bn weapons sale to Taiwan, according to Hung Cao, in order to preserve American munitions stocks during the war with Iran. The move highlights growing concern over depleted American missile inventories after months of fighting, despite repeated assurances from Pete Hegseth that supplies remain adequate. The pause also appears to conflict with Donald Trump’s suggestion that the sale could instead be used as leverage in negotiations with China.

The war is pretty much over and signed….but we’re stockpiling for the continuing war ahead….? (Excuse me, incursion, not a war.)

It might hurt some to admit, but the extent that hardline Israeli interests have harmed all of Americas other numerous geopolitical interests is pretty astounding. All pretense of realism couldn’t stand up to Trumps Gulf arab commercial interests and Israeli aligned donors

The Taiwan legislature fought for months over the military procurement budget, which triggered various partisan disputes, and now it seems like a joke.
