Just started watching, first thing I notice is one guy hiding his face from the cameras and they’re way too bunched up. Weird.

I cannot imagine being this brave. I don’t know how much respect for the life of the press there was in previous conflicts, but we know those soulless bastards will gleefully target non combatants. They’re in just as much danger as the soldiers on the ground and they’ve no way to defend themselves in the worse case scenario.

Absolutely not afraid to say I’d be too much of a fucking coward to do anything like this.

I’m honestly impressed that they manage to down a few of the drones with just regular rifle fire.

In my specific job in Afghanistan at least one member of our team carried a shotgun. I always wonder why they aren’t carrying them in this conflict. I never dealt with drones, but it seems an easier way to drop one. Easy on my part to Monday morning quarterback out of combat.
