Sheryl Underwood was on Shane’s podcast today and said people need to stop acting offended on her behalf lol

Oh give me a break. Trying to save face.

You knew damn well what that roast was and who was in it.

Chelsea handler was the one you could tell didn’t know what she was talking about. Her jokes didn’t even make any sense.

Those roasts are all no-holds-barred type events. They’re intentionally brutal and vulgar and taboo and over the top. It’s like a home run derby or piñata game for comedians. If you actually take them at face value, then they would all be horrible. She knows that very, very well. She’s played an active role in several of them before. She can’t just start clutching her pearls and pretend to be shocked now. If that’s how she really feels, then why hasn’t she spoken out about the many roasts like this in the past? There have been countless blistering race-based jokes. She’s not appalled, she’s just full of sanctimonious shit.

Meh. It’s a roast of a black guy. Of course there will be racial jokes. My complaint is how all of the jokes were a regurgitation of jokes told a thousand times. George Floyd can’t breathe joke? Yeah, haven’t heard that a million goddamn times before. New material, please.

Her joke about Tony having the face that a shooter shoots first and the face of the shooter – something like that – was probably the best, and most offensive, joke that I heard. Can’t really make a joke like that then complain about others, though.

Yeah, but, you dined with monsters after it was public that they were a monster.

    7. The purpose of a Roast is to be as mean and vile as possible. Racist jokes are half of what make up a roast

Nah Shane is fantastic. Doesn’t preach or pretend to be the moral authority on anything. Tony is a weird little thing though.

The best joke was Tony pointing out her mouth is stretched out disgustingly wide from all her plastic surgery

Ah yes engagement/ragebait about jokes that weren’t event written by the comedians that said them.

The internet(you) is full of so many idiots that fall for this clickbait bullshit

    11. This statement is just so stupid. Shane Gillis and Sheryl underwood just did a podcast together that is the counterpoint

    12. It’s a roast. Roasts are literally supposed to go too far. If you’re not groaning or saying “holy shit” a few times, they’re not doing it right.

If you can’t handle being roasted, don’t involve yourself.

Was it not a roast? This is the point. Comedians say absolutely heinous shit to each other. I am all about South Park Rules everything is funny, or nothing is funny.
