So Moscow is hot due to fires from „3 day special military operation“ ?

Turkey has been surprisingly cold this year compared to before, especially since it’s almost summer

I’ve lived in Catalonia for ten years now and I’d say this is the coolest May I’ve experienced.

I live in Russia. Today it was +32°C, and in the sun it was over +40°C. It’s not too stuffy, though. And that’s just great. I love summer. I suspect it’ll be +11°C again in July, with frost at night.
Yeah, I’m that weird guy who loves the heat. I worked during the day, came home, washed up, did some errands, and then went for an evening bike ride in shorts and a T-shirt.

I knew Europe was just a bigger Melbourne. 6-32 on the same day is normal

Turkey being one of the coldest and russia being the warmest really messes with me

I mean sure. Capital cities, i get that its easier.
But there is sooo much variation within the countries, it would be interesting to see that.
Like Finland it has been around 14-30 c today, deoending where you are. Assuming even less in Northern Lapland.

Only two degrees of difference between Rome and Warsaw and one between Rome and Budapest, but the colors are different: what would you rather „not“ say?

This is not so much about climate but about typical spring weather patterns, it’s the temperature of a day not a climate average, in a few days it will be hot with air blowing from the south in western Europe while arctic air travels south over Eastern Europe on the east side of a blocking high pressure system over central and NW Europe. Continental conditions can increase the effect of those weather patterns.

It mean nothing if you take one day of the year, what are we suppose to understand here? Russia is hotter than spain? No it was warm this day, but spain is hotter all the year.

Capital cities of what? Europe?
This map makes no sense given the highest temp is only 32? It’s well over that for 9 months of the year where I live in Australia, and right now it’s in the cooler months so even if this is only Europe, is impossible to be correct.
