The UK often follow the US culturally, and the US is completely obsessed with UFOs. It’s telling that Germany, way denser than England, has way fewer reports.
Cultural hysteria is a bitch.

World-wide, UFO reports are concentrated in English-speaking countries. That’s obviously because it’s a cultural phenomenon. When most people can’t quite see something, they conclude that they don’t know what it is because they can’t quite see it. When someone who grew up watching Close Encounters, Twilight Zone, X-Files, etc., all the time can’t quite see something, they conclude it’s aliens.

Eastern Europeans see UFOs too. They just can’t be bothered to report them.

This is an American site that collects ufo reports, of course English speakers are more likely to report sightings there.
If you took the data from a French website, the sightings would be concentrated to France, Switzerland and Belgium.

Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) have fascinated humanity for centuries, ranging from mysterious lights in the sky to sensor data and close encounters that defy conventional explanation. Such events challenge our understanding of nature, technology, and even our place in the universe.

Just map it to anglophones or those who can speak very good English as a 2nd language (Benelux) and absorbs a lot of US alien conspiracy TV. I bet the same applies to Australia, NZ and to Canada.
