Ich habe gerade meinen Reisepass durchgesehen und festgestellt, dass ich letztes Jahr auch am selben Tag angekommen bin. Mir ist auch aufgefallen, dass du den Berg Ararat von der Briefmarke entfernt hast! 😤

Yet another step in the right direction from the reformist government of Armenia. A country should focus on what it has and what is its own in order to become prosperous, strong, and self-sustaining. Having a mountain located inside the territory of another country on a passport stamp is strange, to say the least, if not outright funny. It literally encourages tourists to visit that country rather than Armenia and downplays the importance of Armenia itself.
Is this a concession to open the border crossing?
Im not even Armenian and I am sad. Ararat is a big part of the history and national identity and erasing it feels wrong:(

For god’s sake, can we please learn to ignore things that create zero tangible loss or value and pay attention to things that actually create tangible loss or value?
I get an impression that if we collapse the country into economic ruins and extreme poverty, turn it into a Russian gubernya, but give everyone a home with the view of the ararat, rename every boy to Ararat and girl Araratuhi, and tatoo ararat on everyone’s forehead, people will cheer in happiness?
Can we please stop thinking woth emotions and evaluate tabgible good vs bad?
Just put a little arevakhach in the middle where it used to be. I’ll accept credit thanks
I’m not Armenian but that’s too sad.
i am Turkish, i got that stamp in my passport, to be honest i didn’t offend or felt anything seeing it. i see this as a gesture of goodwill in the normalization process of both parties. not harmful, not helpful.
