I challenge anyone who actually supports Trump doing this to explain what the definition of a „conflict of interest“ is, in their own words.

Obviously. It’s an adversarial process. What are they teaching in law schools these days?

The corruption of the Trump administration is disgusting.

I hope a future administration throws Trump, his family, and his cabinet in jail for racketeering and corruption.

Didn’t he campaign on releasing the Epstein files? He is playing both sides of that

    5. The judge was about to dismiss the case as it was bullshit on so many levels – so they just plain dropped the case before the judge had a chance to dismiss.

They are now pretending that there was a ’settlement‘. There was NO SETTLEMENT.

Judge noted in her dismissal that the agreement reached was not a formal settlement of record because the notice did not reference any settlement or include a stipulation of settlement.

Ffs, stop calling it a settlement! This was not a settlement.

“Williams late Monday formally agreed to close the case, but criticized the manner in which the controversial litigation came to an end since Trump’s lawyers didn’t say in court that there was a settlement.

“Because the Notice does not reference any settlement or include a stipulation of settlement, there is no settlement of record,” the judge wrote.”

    7. There shouldn’t even be a settlement. It is literally embezzlement. He is basically ordering the IRS to give him nearly 2 billion dollars.

Congrats on showing how much of a Trump ass licker you are, Bloomberg. Just had to add „Democrats say“ didn’t you?

If Trump has immunity during his presidency, then he himself can’t sue anyone or any entity while he is President especially since he would be suing his own organization/the federal government. It’s crazy. It’s corrupt.

He’s just straight up stealing taxpayer money right in front of our faces. Anyone who tries to portray it as anything else should never be rusted again.

If he’s allowed to do this once, what’s to stop him from doing it again, and again, and again? The corruption is unlike anything anyone could have even predicted or dreamed of.

Does anyone remember when Republicans where screaming bloody murder about Hunter Biden using his dad’s name to get a seat on a board of a company in Ukraine? They were dreaming of finding a way to Impeach Biden over that. Now this happens, and not a damn word from any of them.

    12. They say that, sure… but they won’t do jack shit about it. Fucking cowards.

I remember at the time it was released he said it was fake because it showed that he was losing money every year so that’s why he never had to pay taxes.

    14. but he still does it and no American has the balls to stop him.

      „Somebody gotta do something“.

Legally, no. But with this administration, legal seems a farcical idea.

    16. PintsOfGuinness_ on

Trump can do whatever he wants if nobody is going to fucking stop him.

    17. AlludedNuance on

How long are we going to act in the farce that our government, as we knew it, still exists?

    18. The_Confirminator on

I can already imagine the conservative defense: „WELL BIDEN DID IT TOO!!!“

    19. Add it on top of the pile of the most blatantly corrupt shit a president has ever done. This country is literally fucked. Nothing will fix the fact that half of the voting population is okay with corruption of this level. Nothing.

    20. Travelerdude on

You’re missing the fucking point. There should be no IRS settlement. Blatant corruption and if you’re haggling the details you’ve already lost.
