      I blame the hot weather.

The sooner we can return to our habitual cold drizzle, the sooner we can stop worrying about blight.

Jesus Christ. Start dumping slurry into the rivers and cutting down trees and hedges. We’ve not a moment to lose.

Plenty of food here for us besides the spud, nothing will happen to all of that

    4. Cold weather. High cost of living. And now I can’t even get a chip on my shoulder.

I’d hold a grudge but they’d probably take that too.

Potatoes are one of the most expensive crops to grow because they need so many fungiside treatments in a growing season. Irish weather is perfect for blight. That is the first of many of these blight notifications this year!

I grew potatoes last year and wondered if they didn’t grow or had a blight would I get intergenerationally triggered. Anyway the spuds grew, 10/10 recommend, was super easy and enjoyable to do.
