      Step by step the AFU is taking back what belongs to Ukraine. I salute all the heroes involved and hope that they will be able to return home soon and live in peace.

      That’s a very welcome surprise.

      It was looking like a lopsided war of attrition, where Putin would keep throwing meat into the grinder and inching slowly forward – the question being whether he’d run out of orc meat or fall out of a window first, or manage to keep it going long enough to conquer the whole country.

      Now, though … actually being pushed back even without running out of orc meat to sacrifice? No wonder he’s starting to backtrack his rhetoric.

      I am looking forward to the coming siege of Crimea. I think the russians are going to have much of their logistics cut off and not much replaceable AA or fuel. Maybe wishful thinking, but Ukraine seems to be working on a patient and meticulous strategy. As they tend to do.

      Russia is having trouble because

      – they lost Starlink
      – they blocked Telegram
      – they run out of meat
      – they loose the technological race of autonomous (AI) drones and other high tech

      It blows my mind NATO are not begging Ukraine for membership.

      Their modern battlefield experience is priceless and something no individual NATO member can understand , strategise for or buy their way out of with expensive materiel.

      If any part of that front breaks Russia could be backpedaling a long ways now that supplies are thin and cut off completely by the Mariupol road fire control.

      I love reading stuff like this and enjoy seeing video of burning oil and energy production facilities in Russia.
