      1. UK – close, and good welfare state.
      2. Ireland – same as above, but it’s a bit further away.
      3. New Zealand – really nice, just remote.
      4. Canada – same as above but dragged down by neighbouring USA.
      5. Australia – they don’t like immigrants!
      6. USA – just straight up a dangerous place to be as an immigrant.

Edit: For people who were born in these countries or maybe migrated there about ten years ago or longer, life would’ve been better due to more jobs, and cheaper cost of living. But if you want to move there now, you won’t even find a job, let alone afford the cost of living. Do your freaking research. Google is free! And whoever tells you otherwise is either a rich person, or a liar!

Omg, these are THE worse countries! People living there are trying to escape, and you guys wanna move there?! Coming from Canada, and knowing people from other countries, I can tell you that you won’t last a day.

Yeah, you may think that people make more money but at the same time, the cost of living is 100 times more expensive than what they make. The amount of tax everyone pays is…there is no word for it.

In Canada alone, you pay almost half of your income for taxes, and you pay over 15 percent tax for everything you buy, plus if you own property, you pay property taxes.

No one has to believe anyone. You can simply Google stuff like cost of rent, grocery, utilities, the average income and whether people are happy in those countries.

    3. I’m in Australia so probably that one! UK might have been nice too since it would be closer to Europe/ home. Australia is far enough away from Russia at least though 🤞🏻

Funnily enough, there used to be worries about Russia invading Australia, even had troops mobilised for a suspected attack once in Melbourne.

No f-ing thanks. I’ve been plenty of times to UK, friends lived elsewhere out of this list, and I can move to any of those countries quite easily but no way in hell would I ever do that. Maybe I’d choose Australia at a gunpoint, maybe I’d go to US for several years if given extremely well paying contract, but still no thank you.

    7. Canadian here, currently living in Spain, visited Georgia many years ago and have great affection for the country. If you get to BC, Canada, let me know and I may know the only restaurant for khinkali in the Province! we would always buy bags of frozen khinkali to take home …

I’m already in the US, and I would honestly rather be in Ireland. There’s no ICE there and my Georgian mom would be safer. Well, she likes heat better and Ireland’s cold, so maybe New Zealand? Living in Lord of the Rings would be pretty cool

Australia, Canada, New Zealand Ireland- Probably. If they’re able to sort out their housing market they’d be among the top tier countries on earth

UK – I’m hesitant as their economy has been stagnant since the great recession, robbing it of a lot of it’s luster + there is a significant chance they’ll vote in a far-right government led by a guy who made demagoguery against eastern europeans a key part of the Brexit campaign

US – No. I used to live there and thought about moving back but, with everything going on right now, I’d probably be better off in Canada.

According to my family in the UK, the country is going to shit and it looks like Farage might win the next general election. Country is fucked.
