    1. Everyone is now realizing Carney is just a ultra-wealthy executive after all, and inevitably pursues the types of policies that benefit other ultra-wealthy executive the most.

A CV is not a testament of character or integrity folks.

Ability is a neutral skill which can be applied towards any purpose; we need to focus much more on intent and authenticity in politics, imo.

    2. This is a very odd critique of increased military spending by Di Trolio, arguing that military spending doesn’t create enough jobs. But that misses the point of why Carney is rightfully increasing military spending – its not just for job creation, but for guaranteeing national security at a time when Trump is openly threatening the country and when Canada seeks to play a bigger role in multilateral defense coalitions like NATO in order to allow itself more say over its own future as a middle power.

Unless Canada is interested in just being a puppet state of the United States, what option is there other than upping the military budget?

This article is pudding , it sucks how compartmentilized media has become .

Quite literally all that writing about all the things Carney has done and they cant argue or leave open one avenue of possibile positivity in his actions .

Hit peice , designed for a specific audience.

Or „a rising tide lifts all boats,“ as Carney would prefer to put it, but it’s the same manure. It’s the same sort of voodoo economics that means you can somehow nation build while downsizing the federal government.
