Hallo zusammen, wahrscheinlich ist das eine dumme Frage, aber ich werde mein Risiko eingehen.
Wir haben kürzlich eine neue Waschmaschine für unsere WG bekommen.
Leider ist das Die Höhe der neuen Maschine ist etwas höher als unser Küchenschrank (wo die alte Maschine aufbewahrt wurde).
Ohne die obere Abdeckung (Abdeckung) der Waschmaschine passt die Maschine gut.
Aber wenn man es offen lässt (siehe Bild), kann es wegen des Staubs schädlich sein und es besteht auch die Gefahr elektrischer Probleme, wenn es Wasser ausgesetzt wird.
Im Moment haben wir einige Plastikfolien zum Abdecken verwendet, aber ich würde gerne wissen, ob es welche gibt bessere Möglichkeit, den oberen Teil der Maschine abzudecken?
Ist es möglich, ein dünnes Blech zu kaufen und es abzudecken? Wenn ja, wo kann ich es kaufen? Oder vielleicht andere Lösungen.
Wahrscheinlich haben einige von Ihnen eine ähnliche Erfahrung gemacht. Vielen Dank für Ihre Antwort im Voraus!

this is exactly why the panel is so easily removable.
Just leave it like that, its fine.
I had same issue, as the machine is inside of cabinet and top panel is just visual panel without any other reason as being a surface. I just left as it is. Without top inside.
Just to check, did you check that the feet of the machine are screwed all the way in?

Also, make sure all the shipping fasteners are removed before you screw it in, or it will shake your kitchen apart.
I don’t see anything that could get damaged by dust (especially if it’s covered by the countertop) or water. Maybe the wires could corrode with time in a very humid environment, but at that point, the cover won’t make much of a difference.
It’s fine, remove the foil and leave it.
As everyone else says that’s very normal and expected thanks to DIN (and others). You should be able to screw the legs so that the machine has a good stand and not too much of a gap to the counter. I would advise against fixing it to the counter in any shape or form as vibration would probably destroy it sooner or later.

What you bought is a so called „Standgerät“ (a stand-alone model), what you need is one that is „unterbaufähig“. Those ones have their Tops designed flat so you don’t have that plastic from the controls blocking it.
You can fix this, buy a Metal Sheet (non-corroding) and screw it onto the machine, then isolate the small gap left at the Front where the plastic sits.
You NEED something to close the front gap, otherwise there is a possibility of water getting onto the electrical components and breaking your machine.
The legs should be a little expandable so you can fill the gap between the counter and the machine better after removing the top lid (if you are worried about dust).
