      Only way a organization like UN can function successfully to deter aggressor nations is if those aggressor nations are afraid of the consequences of incurring the collective wrath of the member nations. Russia clearly has no fear of that. ( why should they???). Not even trying to deny/hide their attack on UN staff. UN is useless as a deterrent /peacekeeper. Maybe marginally effective as a relief org..

      As other have said, the UN will not make a fuss. They had to be shamed into condemning Russia’s kidnap of thousands of children, but they still did F all.

      UN is reaping what it has sown. UN wasn’t able to react effectively when the conflict started (2014,2022) so no wonder it tastes the afterburn. Russia spreads terror and chaos and the UN remains oblivious. UN as a forum failed to take a precedented stance.
