    1. How can I donate or give all the support to have more of these artistic pieces in all of Yerevan? They look so awesome!
I like the carpet one too, but doesn’t it violate some of the civilian codes? If it can stay, that would be awesome!

    2. Oh man so much has been added since last year! This makes me want to go back even more than before. Love the pop of color especially for the grey buildings that have no architectural style to them.

I actually think that if executed properly at scale this can become a major city identity and a tourist attraction. Our country has never lacked cultural depth but we have been very bad at displaying it to the outside world.

It doesn’t have to be everywhere, but a few deliberately chosen publicly visible places can have a lot of impact. It doesn’t have to be exclusive with residential buildings. A couple of old tunnels/underpasses(this one could be awesome), older school buildings, benches, utility boxes, old looking sidewalks, stair rises, playgrounds…

It can actually be more prevalent in certain selected districts, for example Kond has many old historic city buildings but also some which genuinely look quite bad, mixing the old historic city with modern murals to mask the less pretty ones can have amazing charm.

I also really loved this children’s playground at Khachkars square, looks so stylish.

    4. These are not graffiti, these are commissioned murals. I’d love to paint some myself😁

Armenians are very artistic. The street paintings are truly next level. ❤️

I wouldn’t call that grafitti, more like beautiful art.

      More of that please.

I think that in order to develop this initiative, it is necessary to create a non-profit organization that would obtain permission from the administration to create such works on building walls. Then, create a platform where people could choose artists and specific artworks, as well as make donations.

It’s a great idea, but I was also thinking about greening the facades of old buildings in order to help solve the problems of humidity and dusty air in Yerevan.
