No, it was. You just didn’t realize it at the time.
I liked her on Nashville! Her character was a troubled person, but it was a role.
This makes me wonder if a lot of people she works with just don’t like her.

She was dating the heavyweight champion of the world at the time. Perhaps she wasn’t around much or they thought it was awkward for such a giant man to be dating such a small and young looking woman.
She was in active addiction/I think was experiencing PPD during the show? and lbr, addicts can be really difficult to relate to when they’re consumed by a substance.

Well she certainly describes Nashville (the town) pretty accurately.
She was 23. Everyone else had families and kids.
Part of it is she never learned how to make healthy friendships.
I have never heard of this dude until the last 7 days on Reddit and all of a sudden he is everywhere.
She landed the Heroes gig at age 18.
She got a few movies afterwards as well and then almost instantly she was a c-list actor.
Its not crazy to think an 18-year-old acting immature when handed an opportunity that 50-year-olds would have literally kill for.
