      I can’t imagine having this much money and getting all this surgery to look like how she does now…she was beautiful before the surgery…her knockers are ridiculous and look like airbags.

      I realize it is their money and I’m just a little old elementary school teacher, but I always think of all of this as wasted time and money. Just think about the amount of good it could have done in the world instead of being wasted on her body.

      She was a great looking woman to begin with. And eventually, time will take its toll!

      I read an article the other day that said it’s not about looking beautiful. It’s about looking like all the other obscenely rich people. Think of it like turning your face into a Birkin bag.

      I’m happy to bash on celebrity types for unnecessary plastic surgery, but it’s also true that the „before“ pictures in this article go back more than 20 years.

      if you want to compare people’s looks in photos *you put the photos that you are comparing side by side*. this is not rocket science.

      If she got the work done when she was young then it’s body dysmorphia. If she got the work done when she got old then it’s gerascophobia

      I am not a fan at all, but I think people who get lots of plastic surgery are insecure and trying to find peace within themselves. And honestly, regardless of who it is, it makes me sad for them. So I try not to judge anyone who has made that choice.

      That picture of her from 2002, she looked beautiful there. Fresh faced and natural. Now she looks plastic

      I don’t think it has anything to do with beauty, really. I think that when someone has an ungodly amount of money, there comes a point where they stop knowing what to do with it. Butchering/altering their bodies becomes a kind of status display. It has become a way of signaling wealth and excess, almost like saying, „Look at what money allows me to do compared to ordinary people“…

      I used to lament that my skin isn’t firm but Sanchez’s skin looks so uncomfortably tight that it makes me appreciate my own a lot more.

      in the ’90s it was being a skeleton

      in the 2000s that dark tan look was in

      I feel like there was a moment in the 2010s where the we actually appreciated the natural look.

      now in the 2020s the cool thing is the work done look. They want to look like they had plastic surgery. looking like you had work done is a status symbol.

      Man, there’s not a single photo where there isn’t some cosmetic augmentation. Even in 2002, the lip line is just that bit extra

      Honestly looks like since 2010 she’s had tonnes of work done. 2004 is the last picture where she looks naturally beautiful and 2007 is the last picture where she looks natural at all.

      Is it sexist if I can’t imagine this isn’t done to attract the male gaze? Like is this really about internalized beauty standards? Seems to me that it’s about looking like what a rich man marries. I think she looks hot if I compare her to a blowup doll. It’s only if I compare her to a real woman that she looks plastic and alien.

      That 2004 photo… That’s definitely the Lauren that I remember from the LA local news. I think she could’ve aged well but decided to turn her face into plastic.
