Bitcoin became important enough that markets now care who runs the Fed.

Expect more institutional adoption, clearer regulation, and probably more liquidity flowing into crypto over time.

He isn’t a pro-crypto guy. He’s a Trump guy. He will be a pro-crypto guy if it means lining Daddy Trump’s pockets.

Powell was one of the last figures with power who didn’t back down from Trump’s cohorts. I am worried about overall markets moving forward across the board.

    3. My understanding is his entire role is to cut interest rates at trump’s demand, which is very likely to massively fuck up the US economy. But yeah I’m sure he’ll be great for crypto and that’s the important thing.

    4. When will people learn that „pro crypto“ in the trump regime really means „pro lining the pockets of trump associates using crypto“?

Means dip sh.t. Trump was suppose to be procrypto and what happened. He cancelled the whole fu…n bullrun. As long magafu…rs mess the economy were fu…d.

    6. Don’t believe the hype. This is, like the regime itself, net bad for crypto.

Crypto bros are never beating the allegations.

    8. A sycophant as the chair will be disastrous.

      Full economic collapse in 5…4…3…2…1

Crypto media and crypto bros are so blatantly MAGA. They’re all praying for an orange savior to moon their bags

    10. By pro crypto you mean going to send us into an inflationary spiral potentially collapsing the price of crypto to increase

I chuckle everytime crypto investors actually happy that theres more government influence on their DECENTRALIZED currencies

    12. I’m in crypto for nearly 15 years, and when Trump embraced crypto, it was the first time I seriously considered selling. Too shady, and that means something in this space.

Even this literal crypto sub agrees how bad this is..

    13. Oh good.

Just like how we have a “pro crypto” president

I can’t afford to win this hard

I was wondering why SPY raised so much this morning, because this was going to be announced this afternoon. 🤓

The same “pro-crypto” guy that’s in the Epstein files? Nice guy there.

    16. This is genuinely macro-bullish. Warsh has been arguing for a smaller Fed balance sheet for years and was one of the few critics of the late-2020 QE expansion. Less stimulus and tighter policy historically lines up with the BTC narrative tailwind. The headlines might be milking „pro-crypto“ a bit, but the underlying monetary thesis is what matters.

    17. Dang, I was hoping Elizabeth Warren would be the new chairman! What are you people talking about??

At this point being pro crypto doesn’t mean much since he’s also a Trump „yes man“

    19. From Pro-Bitcoin Powell to Pro-Crypto Warsh. At least he has a pretty positive stance towards Bitcoin as well.

    20. You have to respect Jerome Powell. Does not give in to Trump, trying to artificially control interest rates by pressuring what should be an independent body of experts. Just so that him and his buddies can borrow cheaply even if fucks up the economy.

I hope there are enough good people in the administration that don’t give in to pressure.

Would be nice to see prices stabilize. I don’t own any crypto and I’m just waiting for the price to keep steady for a couple of months so I know if I buy some to use I’m not gambling with whether it’s going up or down.

Yes we got pro crypto SEC and pro crypto president, look where it brought us
