I am gonna go out on a limb here and say it was justified. This guy makes content for selective outrage and engagement. On Diwali, he went to some bum-ass town to visit a dung-throwing event in India. This was on purpose to showcase „third-worldism,“ the equivalent of someone going to a ghetto on MLK day. He makes what is essentially porn for people.
If a country feels its reputation is at stake because of negative coverage, it has the right to reject someone like Tyler.
Edit: This guy is not some well-meaning objective journalist. He is a content creator who knows what to sell and has faced criticism for propagating hoaxes and editing out footage.
