    1. From the article:

Obama’s Higher Ground Productions has paired with Larry David for the wildly improvised historical sketch comedy series featuring Bill Hader, Kathryn Hahn, J.B. Smoove and others.

David will be returning to HBO this summer with a brilliant-sounding sketch comedy miniseries titled *Life, Larry and the Pursuit of Unhappiness: An Almost History of America*.

Produced through Obama’s Higher Ground Productions banner, the six-episode series will reportedly blend America’s biggest historical moments with the same petty arguments, uncomfortable energy and social disasters that made Curb Your Enthusiasm a cultural phenomenon. According to longtime Larry David collaborator Jeff Schaffer, the show is essentially, “Curb in costume.”

Am I the only one who doesn’t want ex presidents running around producing mediocre crap for streaming services?

    3. Im keen as for this, massive LD fan.

Larrys writing humour is all about awkard mild offensive social interactions. Obama whole image is the opposite. This will be a banger

    4. Could they not have just done a season of Drunk History? Because that would be stellar.

    5. Bernie Sanders must get back at Larry David and Obama by making his own comedy with Key and Peele instead.

    6. Oh my god it’s perfect the former president has to become a TV star to counter the former TV star who is now president.

      Shplendid!

/s – i was not a big fan of that character.

BUT, I love Bill Hader and Kathryn Hahn. Obviously, JB & LD as well. I bet the show will be great.

Is this why Obama’s production company left Netflix? They felt like they’d be able to get a good partnership with HBO?
