    1. That means at any given time in Kiribati it is summer and winter, or spring and fall, and also it is today, and tomorrow, or yesterday.

    2. France, UK, and US are in all four hemispheres.

I think Norway is in all four hemispheres too, with Jan Mayen and Bouvet Island.

This map does not show hemispheres, it shows quadrants. Several nations have territory in all four hemispheres (north, south, east, west) including the USA, France, and UK. France also has territory in all four quadrants.

    4. There’s a little bitty of Kiribati in each hemisphere. If only it was pronounced like that

I get what OP is trying to say why is everyone so goddamn pedantic

Edit: Go ahead downvote me but the reality is multiple legitimate sources like the CIA world factbook will say that Kiribati is the only country in 4 hemispheres, they do not include non-self governing dependencies. OP is technically correct,
it’s obvious that countries with a bunch of overseas territories will be spread out but Kiribati is unique that it is all administered together and not broken into dependencies.

AI slop. Those islands along the green/purple line don’t exist on any other map.

    7. It’s so crazy that we can say „four hemispheres“ and it makes sense. Or am I just high?
