Israel is wrong.
There are only around 1 million people in jerusalem, which accommodate for only 10% of the population.

You are counting the Metropolitan area instead of the city area, because at least for Lisbon, the city proper only has 550.000 inhabitants [5.5%] meanwhile the metro area has ~2.8 million [28%]

How did you count the population of Copenhagen in Denmark? Some say it’s about 700k for Copenhagen Municipality or 1.4 million for the build up area.

Pretty sure you mean city and „near it“ or metropolitan area.

Seems like you’re counting the metro area for a lot of these instead of the actual city, f.ex. there are around 1,4 million inhabitants in the Greater Copenhagen area, which roughly corrosponds to about 1/4 of the danish population, but there are only actually about 700k people that live in the actual city of Copenhagen.

Iceland and Luxemburg. One big city and a few small towns. Of course most folks will be living in the capital.

Hi, a Finn here. It’s approximately 12% here. This map is extremely misleading.

interesting take on how regulations can impact everyday choices, definitely makes you think about global food sourcing

The map is just wtong. In some country it seems like the metro is counted like in Portugal or France while in others like Hungary or Germany the city seems to be counted.
Showing a source would heve been great to show how it’s counted.

1 out of 4 Iraqis is from Baghdad province. For context that’s more people than the Kurdistan region (4 provinces) + Nineveh (the second most populated province) combined. You could probably squeeze in Kirkuk too and that’s all of northern Iraq.

Dublin’s metro area is not terribly well-defined, but based on metro area, Dublin should be red
