They need to start with „cooperate“ then if the other one picks „cheat“ they should continue to copy whatever their partner does.

Ironic that the NY times would even print such a thing, given their love for kissing the asses of corporatist fake „Democrats“

The “We go high..” approach isn’t fucking working. Hasn’t ever worked. It’s time to go on the offensive. Prioritize the working class. Point out the absolute hypocrisy of the right. And to do that, we need to hit a RESET button on the Democratic Party.

MAGA needs a decades long neo socialist counter stroke to undo all the damage to the United States.
We need more millionaires and less billionaires.

The VA Supreme Court ruling is obviously bullshit. If the Democrats were anything but bourgeois, controlled opposition, they would just ignore the VA Supreme Court and use the gerrymander they passed. However, Democrats won’t because they’re controlled opposition in league with the Republicans to preserve Capitalism at the end of the day.

The reason our democracy is ending is because the Dems have been soft. They always say “History will look back on the Republicans.” But no, history will look back on the Dems for failing to do anything to stop the rise of fascism in America.

Republicans that are enabling a corrupt and unfit executive branch and that continually enable the undermining of the constitution need to go. See how easy it is? No shade on this journalist. One of the few journalists working for the NYT calling out the gross misuse of power by the current administration.

Yes.
I don’t really care too much on the „moderate Democrat vs progressive.“ I have my preferences on an issue-by-issue basis.
But my #1A and #1B issues are:
#1A: Republicans must suffer full consequences under the law for their rampant crimes. All of them.
#1B: Laws must be changed to (a) reform the Supreme Court and (b) to ensure & safeguard elections.

During Watergate, there was a strong bipartisan effort to seek the truth. That’s dead and buried now. The GOP has given the dems no choice but to fight fire with fire. Unfortunately, the dems only priority has to be saving the country from total republican usurpation. This is now more important than attempting to work with them in the name of good governance. And yes, those who aren’t on board (in this case the leaders Schumer and Jeffreys) have to go. As Bush so aptly put it following 9/11, you’re either with us or against us!

That would be most of them. The pro of Democrats pushing inclusivity becomes a con when you have to do mean things to bad people rather than just find a way to accept opposing opinions, and not hurt anyone’s feelings. But the “opposing opinions” here are fascism and propaganda and their outcomes is marginalizing and abusing everyone but the in group and they are things we do not have to accommodate.

All people who insist being kind or peaceful towards Republicans are a bunch of incompetent contemptible pushovers that give Republicans the say so to continue their harm and destroy the country. We need radicals! Because Republicans have officially crossed into „sociopathic let’s kill everyone and bully the fuck out of people territory!“ And not even Congress is interested in stopping them. Being nice no longer works!

That would require people to show up and vote, and vote in primaries.
That ain’t gonna happen.
To many of these fools are just as happy to see the D’s lose as a party as the Trump supporters.
The D party is far from perfect, but when people make up idiotic excuses to not vote against a felon/ child rapist/ rapist, and his party…you can’t reason with them. The apathy crowd chugged a ton of GOP backed propaganda, and spit it back at you like a broken FoxNews record. They don’t care.
If you’ve ever helped out with a campaign, and look at primary/ turnout, after so many *say* they hate the GOP, you should. It’s a reality check for how stupid, and fucked this country it, and how few people actually care, and show up.
People refuse to understand you can’t shift a party by not voting, and complaining on social media isn’t political action. A parade with no leaders, and no demands isn’t protesting.
The fact we’re still having to convince people they should show up and vote against everything this administration is doing is evidence of how stupid people are. We ran out of decent people. It’s going to get so much worse.
