Wir haben gerade eine gewaltige Explosion in der Nähe von Glarus gehört, wahrscheinlich in Mollis. Es steigt viel Rauch aus und alle Rettungskräfte sind auf dem Weg dorthin. Weiß jemand, was passiert ist? Wenn es allen gut geht? Wir haben gehört, dass es sich um Maschinen handeln könnte. Ich hoffe, es ist der richtige Subreddit dafür

That looks like it’s on the campus of Netstal Maschinen, AG. It is in Mollis (Glarus Nord) as you say. There isn’t much there that can explode. They have their own Benzin pumps and they have some plastic pellets.

Looking at the photo and map, could be Netstal factory (plastic injection machines).

Maybe they stored some chemicals incorrectly. I’d be interested to know the root cause and really hope people didn’t get hurt.
