  1. I can’t even read the article and I’m laughing. Great use of an old adage if I got it right. Can I guess?

Run into a jerk in the morning, you’ve met a jerk. Run into jerks all day, you’re the jerk

    Works for me.

As someone who lived in the Nepean- Carleton riding for a decade, I met Pierre two or three times per year at community events. I LOATHE him. He’s an empty vessel. A shell of a person.

Edited to get the riding right.

I’m locked out of the article as well, but had to confirm the title suits the old adage I’ve been sharing for decades.

If you wake up in the morning and meet an asshole, then you’ve met an asshole. If you tend to meet assholes all day long, maybe they’re not the asshole, you are.

The fact he get’s up on stage to claim he’s being targeted by „a club Liberal elites“ is a pathetic trope from a patently weak man, and is his version of the term „swamp“. The CPC is rightly doomed to failure with this weak, used car lot floppy armed blowup dancing man, cardboard cutout of a failed populist movement as it’s flagbearer. Imagine 2029 and he’s still campaigning on his tired old grievances. It’s not the Liberal elites who have targeted you Pierre, it’s any Canadian voter residing outside of the male 23-34 year old and Alberta demographic you inexplicably pander to. And as long as the CPC keeps believing what you are shovelling down their throat, and your sole motivating factor is self preservation at any cost, maybe you and your party deserve each other and are better off being the opposition in perpetuity
