for how many years I didn’t expect this shotgun firing drones. I thought thermite-pouring drones is the peak.

      This is huge right?

A big part of drone warfare is being able to have drones already in the sky awaiting targets

How many shots does it have? If it got like 10, that’s a game changer

    4. I know it’s war, but hunting drones with a drone with a shotgun looks like a ton of fun

    5. I wonder how they do this, some form of recoiless shotgun charge? Does not appear that the camera is jostled in the slightest after the impulse force from the discharge.

Neat. So we can add this to the list of

Suicide drones just flying into each other

      Net guns

      Wackers

      And stabbers

Any other drone v drone attacks that im missing?

Interesting too, that since the target drones are battery powered and the explosives they carry (if any) probably require a detonator to explode, there’s little risk of the target drone exploding and taking out the hunter drone, even at point blank range.

I think it will be an important drone warfare design decision in the future, of whether it’s better to have your drone explode easily when shot by a shotgun or when impacting the ground, or whether it’s better to have it only explode when the operator designates that it should.

I think in the future drones will probably be set to detonate their charges automatically if any critical control systems are destroyed. Or possibly even a second after that to allow the drone’s momentum to carry it closer to the target trying to disable it, in the case of someone on the ground trying to destroy it.
