Ich rief Natuurpunt an und sie sagten mir, ich solle sie in der Nähe rauslassen, damit sie selbst einen anderen sicheren Ort finden könnten. Ich zögere etwas, das zu tun, weil wir vier Hühner haben und es in der Gegend mehrere Katzen gibt, von denen eine mich den ganzen Tag gut im Auge behalten hat. Ich habe gerade eine kleine Pause gemacht und die Katze war in der Nähe der Eimer, in denen ich sie vorerst untergebracht hatte. Ich rief auch die örtlichen Behörden an und sie sagten mir, ich solle sie nicht wieder freilassen. Belgien, schätze ich.
Das ist keine alltägliche Frage, und ich bin mir sicher, dass es bessere Subreddits gibt, um diese Frage zu stellen, aber als ich einen alten Plastikteich entfernte, stolperte ich über diese kleinen Kerle. Unnötig zu erwähnen, dass es ihnen nicht gefällt, dass ich ihr Haus räumen werde. Google hat mir gesagt, dass es sich um kleine Wassersalamander handelt (ist das richtig?). Ist es für mich sicher, sie an einen anderen Ort zu verlegen? Und wenn ja, wo wäre ein guter Ort dafür, um ihnen max. Überlebenschancen? TIA

Call your local townhall and ask for nature services.. There is probably a park where they know a population lives or a riverbed and they can relocate them
r/salamanders is probably more helpful. Good luck with them!
Do their bellies look yellow? In that case they are a rare species of salamander.
But maybe ask you local fb groep if someone from Natuurpunt or a local eco group can help you out.

3 out of 4 kinds of salamander in Belgium are on the endangered species list, so you sure are doing a good job helping them. I believe there are places you can bring them to be helped (maybe natuurpunt?), which may be the best course of action. Good luck and thanks for doing the right thing.
Kleine watersalamander indeed. Bit of a tricky situation because you are legally not allowed to transport them. Adding them to another natural habitat disrupts the ecosystem, plus they might be carrying Bsal or other diseases.
Can’t really do anything good other than digging a new pond for them in the same location _(ツ)_/¯
Edit: if you give them space and a bit of a wet spot they will try to relocate on their own, which might be the best option
They are usually found in ponds near forest/woods in my experience, I would place them in a glass jar and drop them there. I seen some in fountains even, guess because they were less prone to be eaten by fishes.
Keep them moist, give them a habitat become a proud salamander daddy. Don’t even think about putting a boring lawn there because of an oncoming baby who could drown or the need to bbq for the whole fam. No kind of stupid shit is worth it to destroy their home.
You have to check their life cycle. They will get out of the water at some other moment in the year.
Then it might be better to remove the pond.
But i suggest keeping it.

Don’t touch them with your bare hands. Their skin is permeable and easily contaminated by whatever we may have on our hands/skin.
