      So pledis was so bad at managing girl groups that they made a whole new label to manage the rumored pledis girl group?

      They should fill the sound gap that groups like iz*one and wjsn left, especially with SSH being the PD

      Huh, interesting. I’ll be keeping an eye on them – while I don’t care for many of Hybe’s bgs, I like their ggs so far. Whether that’s just coincidence or because they’ve found a method that works with their sublabels, I guess we’ll see!

      This is basically the Pledis girl group…ABD be new Hybe label like Ador, Belift…okay anticipating. I like Hybe ggs music.

      Pledis‘ public reputation so bad about managing gg that instead rehabilitating their image they created a new label just to debut the gg.

      isn’t this for pledis gg? they had like 2-3 groups that have never debuted, the one with yunjin and natty, another one sometime in like 2023, and now this!

      Interesting choice. I wonder why they’re going this route as opposed to letting the girl group stay under PLEDIS or another sub label. It doesn’t seem easier to have another label, but what do I know…

      Making one label for bg only and another for gg.

      Interesting that they set up a whole new label just for girl groups. We been knew that Pledis (by extension Hybe) hates women in that they fumble their girl groups hard. Hopefully ABD isn’t a label they set up just to keep up with the hates women allegations!

      It’s interesting that HYBE seems to like separating groups into different labels by gender. I don’t know of other companies outside of HYBE that have a stated specialization in either girl groups or boy groups. Maybe other labels do it as well, but they are just less explicit about it.

      Ngl I was wondering when this gg would finally materialize- it’s been rumored foreverrrr.

      Here’s hoping with their new resources and Hybes pressure for a group with their branding to succeed Pledis can pull it off this time.

      Theoretically HYBE are going to have Le Sserafim, NewJeans, Illit, Katseye, and this group active concurrently under the same big umbrella. (E: there’s also that other HYBExGeffen group…)

      It’ll be interesting to see how it pans out. They undoubtedly have the cash to make it work, but the logistics are going to be *interesting*.
