At what point should refusal of care be considered neglectful? Because children shouldn’t be dying in preventable ways just because their parent believes in something crazy.

>An HHS spokesperson did not respond to questions but in an email **blamed the administration of former President Joe Biden for the rise in parents rejecting vitamin K shots**. “Vitamin K at birth,” the spokesperson added, “remains the standard of care.”
What the actual fuck?
This is heartbreaking.
My hope is that those parents will abandon the rejection of medical science that is being encouraged both by right wing public figures and by the Trump regime.
But also, may their pain and grievance burn hot in them and become an unquenchable fire against the lying „conservatives“ that brought them to slay their own children..
