👉👈 🧿👄🧿🇺🇦 pretty please? There is a huge polygon to test those, Ukraine can provide a lot of metrics and data as result of nice tests 😁

9 to 25 mach speed and 3000kg of explosive mass. You can launch deep strikes within 6000km range.

I’m not even mentioning that this diameter and mass can be increased.

    3. Turkey is poised to achieve a rapid and almost unexpected nuclear breakout. Their strategy is very smart and distinct IMHO. They prioritize the establishment of hightech conventional military infrastructure like carrier systems prior to pursuing additional measures, thereby ensuring that any future disputes regarding Turkey’s possible nuclear aspirations will be constrained in scope.

In other words: Ankara is gathering all the ingredients before starting the critical phase of cooking.

It is actually a very intelligent approach.

    4. Le sigh. Let’s not do Turkey / Greece nuclear proliferation please. Let’s just make it an Oreshnik thing instead

Ehmmm, guys!! Someone needs it 🇺🇦👀 for tests on Mordor.

I’m sure they’ll make a kick-ass commercial about it afterwards, that’s the best Marketing

    6. In the wake of the 2025 Munich security conference, when it became clear NATO would soon be an empty shell, the Turks publicly said they wanted to be a part of whatever new defense alliance the Europeans would come up with.

But they were snubbed by people who kept waving their little flags of human rights and democratic values. Funnily enough, said values fly right out the window when it comes to filling their gas tank or buying a new phone.

People expect their governments to uphold the values they themselves aren’t willing to sacrifice anything for.

We need to be pragmatic, working with an authoritarian Turkey is the best chance we have to slowly reel them back onto the democratic path. We’ve seen it happen in Hungary. Antagonising them further is only going to end with a nuclear armed Turkey downright hostile to us.

Considering the only possible targets for strikes are either around or below 3000km, I can’t find this anything other than hilarious.

title would be „Turkey unveils its intercontinental ballistic missile with 6000km range“

Turkey will probably soon also unveil the payloads which they could transport with this rocket. Goodbye Non-Proliferation treaty, thank you Putin, thank you Trump.

Good news for NATO and those worried about Russian and Israeli aggression.

Ah, yes. Money spent wisely and to improve the conditions of the common folk. Good work

Everyone misunderstood this missiles mission profile and is hung on „it’s useless“ and „Turkey has no one to use it for“ it’s well not useless.

Experts at the EXPO say it’s possibly a multiple independent re-entry vehicle truck so basically this thing carries multiple independent warheads in it. It has a 3000 kg payload which is way more than usual modern nuclear delivery systems which points at this exact fact already (except russian ICBM which are still made with cold war era doctrine rather than tactical).

So it is very well made for conventional explosives not nukes as a nuke wouldn’t need such a huge payload. This thing is made to go into space and drop multiple war heads on the target to stature it not to go down and hit it personally.

This thing easily is about 150 tonne so if it was a direct hit weapon it could wipe away an entire military complex on it’s own (or a city block) with it’s kinetic energy so it’s kinda too dangerous to be used as a conventional missile. It’s a bus not a normal missile.

Non nuclear ICBMs don’t accomplish anything except risking a nuclear response since you cant be sure it’s not a first strike

there are so many people around it how will they move it anywhere else??

    15. Legal_Blueberry007 on

Increasing the range of ballistic missiles does not solely serve to hit targets further away. By increased ranges, your missiles become much harder to counter in closer ranges, can add a few extra maneuvers aling the way or can carry bigger payloads. So it is always something to be desired.

    16. This is why Zelenskyy alluded to a future EU including both Ukraine and Turkey. Lots of obstacles to clear but we would be a political superpower

you must really hate something to use such a long rocket with such a small warhead.

This is called the „you better start calling me Türkiye instead of Turkey or else“ missile
