      Russia can declare all the ceasefire it wants. Hell, it can just go home and stop fighting forever. But you can’t call „times out“ in a war for a parade.

      I think ( speculations) . UKR is sensitive with it’s sprouts like a blind cave spider right now, – coming hours will be crucial.

      Because they want very much needed rotations. Resupply/ work bigger logistics

      They want comfirmation from ruzzia to honor their temp truce- so they can play the their card ( mainly, WHAT they can hit Moscow with).

      The 9th is coming up. So either ruZZia honor this extended hand, or they/the tsar risk a total embarrasing fiasco/air sirens- parade.

      But UKR is probably thinking ’shame on me fool me once- shame on you- you ffed me 17494030 times. But it has been a brilliant chess move last 2 months

      They know how to deal, with little resources and margins. Hat’s off, this war has battlehardened her like no other force on this earth.

      I’d never agree to a cease fire with Russia. Ukraine has the upper hand now, do not let up until Putin is gone.

      I’m pretty sure Russia wants the truce to start AFTER the parade. At least that’s how I interpret their silence.

      Just lots and lots of little Ukrainian flags and notes saying we don’t kill civilians unlike Putin

      That shows the population right there they could have but didn’t and they should rethink how their own government acts

      This man is such a strong politician. I would like to have such a caliber in my own countries parlament. I hope he will stay safe till he will leave this planet by natural cause and not by violence.

      Maybe Ukraine could hack the mobile billboards and show ruZZians getting obliterated in Ukraine by drones and other ways as well as Ukraine sinking the Moskva, blowing up refineries, the Ukrainian incursion into the Kursk oblast, the “Spider Web” attacks, and many more options!!!!

      The parade may not have military equipment but a ton of generals and soldiers in attendance. That is a very good target.

      Is it just me, or does it feel like this Russia stuff is a set up?

      It feels like Russia made the announcement, expecting Ukraine to attack on May 9th. Then they can claim how horrible Ukraine is and how it’s an aggressor that doesn’t want peace. All bullshit, of course, but given trump’s call with Zelensky it wouldn’t surprise me if the US uses it to justify some bullshit.
