That sounds like a scam. What does the email header look like (don’t share your own email though)
Why’s it in English? That’s the biggest red flag; besides the fact that nobody would legally ask you for salary-related documents.
Does the joining.docs.amazon.com link really lead to this address or something else?
[joining.docs.amazon.com](http://joining.docs.amazon.com) is a legit website from them, the second link can be everything. But if the first website has a link to that as well, it would also be legit.
The requested data is more or less standard as well, though only after signing the contract, not during application. But I guess their hiring process is quick, and you may start the day you sign the contract. Asking for the documents before means no delay, and they do not have to ask people over and over again after they joined.
They’re asking for this just at the application step? Seems fishy
All seems legit to be fair. The sender address that you mentioned does seem to belong to Amazon (although emails aren’t the safest and anyone can pretend to be sending from an address they don’t own – although main providers such as Gmail would flag these as spam). The documents portal also seem legit. And the „course link“ at the end is fishy but also seems legit. So all in all, doesn’t look like a scam. I just don’t under why would they ask for salary documents… But maybe there’s an explanation somewhere…?
EDIT: just make sure the links in the email actually point to where they say they do. One can write emails with a URL that says google.com but points to facebook.com, for example.
lol, they want all of this before an interview? Fuck that
Check the drop down of sender and check properly if it has Amazon in it
