We seem to be a land of loop holes, what’s the point of having legislation when it does nothing? The Ryder Cup isn’t even covered.
This is the default option in Ireland.
I’ve seen huge PR campaigns on all the new legislation they’ve brought in to dine dog owners when their dogs kill sheep.
In truth, it’ll make fcuk all difference because actually enforcing the legislation was never the objective, sounding good and pretending they care was.
All this is performative.

I understand why people don’t like ticket touts but I don’t understand why it is given such special treatment when most other sectors are allowed sell at large mark ups. Surely more important products like food, housing and medicine should be subject to some sort of resale caps before luxury products like concert tickets?
