My guess is that Pete Hegseth is isolated enough in the Pentagon that he’s bringing his wife so he feels less alone when he’s in a room with people who don’t like, trust, or respect him.
She is probably worried he will meet his 5th wife at work.
I mean she was the mistress when he was married to his 3rd wife.
