What is his problem with wind energy? I know some people might have talking points from fossil companies. But I’m asking about him in particular. It seems personal.

We actually have a world leader who is scared of sea shells and wind mills. And says that a naval blockade is not an act of hostility

All this because he lost his legal case to ban windmills in Scotland that were visible from his golf course there. Not only did he lose and the windmills got built, but he was forced to repay the Scottish government almost $300K to reimburse them for their legal costs.

Because it’s totally within our natural security interest to… (checks notes)

Have more dependence on foreign oil.

    5. Because the wind goes where ever it wants and doesn’t need a passport with tump’s name on it.

    6. This is going to be really funny when we run out of oil in a few months OR even if the strait reopens the fee Iran is insisting on will keep oil prices permanently high.

The fact that big oil paid trump so much money to attack wind means it works. The wouldn’t spend any money attacking something that wasn’t a threat…

    8. Meanwhile, electric power rates in Virginia are skyrocketing. It’s hard to imagine a more destructive president.

    9. I am taking the whole week off work to celebrate when *it* finally happens.

Our options for energy are the most expensive and worst choices available. He is disconnecting the US from renewable energy. What a fucker!

Meanwhile the pentagon has repeatedly actually said that climate change and resource scarcity is an ACTUAL threat.

    12. As China and Europe build massive wind and solar farms, the US is stuck with an oil conglomerate running politics and hastening the destruction of the environment because a handful of people get rich.

In the future we will be fighting wars for fresh water while the US scrounges for the scraps of fossil fuels because of this deranged antiquated political party

He’s doing everything someone who wants to destroy the country from the inside would do. How does anyone let this monster operate

So theyre killing off wind farms for national security now, right after gutting every climate regulation they could find. Totally not just doing favors for fossil fuel buddies.

It’s a national security priority to build MORE of them in case Trump drives gas to $10+ gallon. At least I’ll be able to afford to ride my e-bike.

The odor from Trump’s diaper… that’s a national security issue.

    16. Wind doesn’t care if the Strait of Hormuz is closed or not…..but rich oil executives do.

Gas prices are hovering at $5/gal and he’s trying to make the US people more dependent on fossil fuels

I’m looking forward to a future Democrat President citing national security to cancel student debt and enacting climate legislation.

    19. Everything Republicans don’t like is national security because they can’t say anything in good faith
