Ich konnte euch einfach nicht glauben, Leute, als ich immer wieder eure Kartoffelfotos und Beiträge gesehen habe … Sie scheinen das Problem endlich verstanden zu haben, aber in dieser Kartoffeltüte scheinen immer noch etwa 10 % zu fehlen. Ich bin gerade zur Migros gegangen und habe dort eingekauft….. ☹️ Es ist, wie es ist.. zumindest habe ich eine Lektion gelernt. Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass ich in der Schweiz so auf meinen Rücken achten sollte 😞

I used to lead a team, which packages potatoes for a different swiss retailer.
Those potatoes in the pic are packed on Jasa Packaging machine after being weighed on a multiheaded (12-14 celles) combination scale usually placed above the machine.
What happens here is my nightmare – (being responsible for a small shitstorm of our customer).
But on the other hand, I really cannot explain, how this happens. The multiheaded weigher / scale is usually super precise.
We used to check the weigh of x bags, every 1-2 hours, and we would add 2-3 % of the target weight for the expected dry out.
Someone in Terralog or SteffenRis / Inoverde will have a bad time.
Crazy. And that’s just the potatoes. What about the cheese, sausages, meat? What about the Aromat? Can we trust that we get what we pay for?
