      Well, can’t get blown up by methane if you close all down coal mines.

    3. I guess this depends on workplace regulations (and how thoroughly they’re applied), but also on what are the main economic activities in those countries (some jobs are always more dangerous than others).

      A construction worker died while building the apartment complex i bought a year before it finished in 2022 and I swear this place is haunted. Rest in peace to him.
      It could also be the graveyard that’s right next to it as well. But weird shit happens sometimes. (Norway btw)

      What sort of definition of Europe includes Ireland and Russia, but not the UK?

      In most of the high number countries dangerous works are made by immigrants working for a subsubsubcontractor, that’s an important factor. Even though the rules are stricter, these subcontractors don’t care about them.

      In Russia you get conscripted and sent to die in Ukraine so that has to count for something.
