The article doesn’t really say china’s scientific edge is continuing to grow. It says chinas investment in research and development is growing more the united states is. But it gives no context for that statement. China’s gdp is also growing faster the US, but china’s gdp is also much lower.
Fuck that, we aren’t even close to China, India and Russia have a scientific advantage over us at this point, partly because Trump is a Russian asset.
Soon the SAT and ACT will be one question „Who won the 2020 election bigly?“ And student will be coached to the correct answer and the US test scores will be 100% across the board.
It is genuinely amazing how the US managed to squander the greatest position a nation has ever been in.
Watch a few vids of influencers in China. I know they just show the best places but, it still looks way better than our best places. And thanks to trump I think our time at the forefront has ended.
