indian or not, a killer is a killer and deserves to be treated as such.

      — from an indian 🤌💕

It literally doesn’t matter that he’s Indian. I’m as white as it gets too btw. What matters is he killed 16 people. He should get the death penalty no matter the color

    3. He’ll get got, they always do. One of the parents will end up taking the trash out, seen it all before.

If the court system can’t uphold justice, someone else will.

I know a guy who robbed a bank, got caught, did his time, and was shipped back to Ireland upon his release. He was a landed immigrant… at 6 months old. Never got his citizenship but did not ever really set foot in Ireland.

    5. this article and headline is meant to push an agenda. I believe the judge only temporarily deferred his deportation. this article is meant to further divide us and to make canada; who before trump was america’s closest ally, look bad. for the record us Canadians are not furious because this news means nothing as it is just a temporary deferral. in fact most canadians never heard about this update until the american media picked it up to further the stupid culture war.

Absolutely sickening…..Not to mention the Canadian mainstream media is mostly focused on his story rather than all the families that have suffered from this…

This is a misleading representation of the the fatal accident and the *temporary deferral* of his deportation.

      >Sidhu was behind the wheel of the semi-truck that blew through an oversized stop sign with a flashing yellow light, right into the path of the Saskatchewan junior hockey team’s bus, on April 6, 2018. The collision killed 16 players and staff and injured 13 others.
He was scheduled to be deported and board a plane for India early Monday morning.

      >However, in a decision after a hearing on Friday, Federal Court Justice Jocelyne Gagné granted a temporary deferral pending the outcome of an earlier Federal Court case, which challenged the Canada Border Services Agency’s (CBSA) decision not to delay Sidhu’s deportation while he waits for a ruling on an application to stay in Canada on humanitarian and compassionate grounds.

“The deportation of Jaskirat Singh Sidhu, the truck driver responsible for the 2018 Humboldt Broncos bus crash, has been temporarily halted by a federal judge. This decision allows for further legal proceedings regarding his status in Canada.”

The deportation order is being appealed.

There’s no chance this guy will win on appeal after serving eight years. People are deported all the time for significantly less serious offences.

Stop allowing people to get a CDL when they are coming from countries where driving is a no holds barred event.

There is, and there has never been, a trucker shortage. It’s always been about lobbying groups wanting to suppress wages and supply side saturation is the easiest way to do that.

I love this sub, but it usually focuses heavily on US politics. As a Canadian, it’s astonishing the things that are happening in our country that aren’t getting the attention they deserve. The media is bought and paid for and is a mouthpiece for our current government who is robbing us blind and replacing us.

Western judges are the most compassionate people in the world for foreign murderers and rapists. Always thinking about their mental wellbeing. It would be inhumane to send them back to where they should have been in the first place! The horror!

As a general rule, anything that brings up the ethnicity/race of someone is most likely rage bait and/or false info. It’s the Epstein class trying to divert attention.

We can’t imprison foreigners who commit crimes? Deportation is a joke. Treat them the same youd treat anyone who breaks into your home and kills your kids. Swift and just punishment without costing tax payers a cent

We might as well just develop a blanket term for the workings of that pedo cult that have blackmailed and bribed most of the world’s developed goverments and media and are just abusing our justice systems for fun?

      The ol Coup de tit?

      Isn’treal at it again?

Just going to start calling it goblin stuff

We got to start checking these judges. They’re one of the easiest officials to keep receipts on. Both of terrible humans need to be run out of this continent

    16. theangleofdarkness99 on

And the majojrity of families of victims who want him deported get about 10% of the media coverage as the one or two families who feel he should be able to stay. The bias in both the media and judicial systems is real.

    17. Salty-Passenger-4801 on

Wait…why WOULD Canada let him go? Id want him to pay for his crimes in Canada, not be deported and then get some slap on the wrist

    18. FormulaJuann on

The judge should ask about the families mental wellbeing as well but that doesn’t matter at ALL .

    19. I keep seeing dozens of these stories. In Canada, the US, Europe, etc everyone hyper concerned about the criminals.

What the actual hell is going on with these judges?

Me thinks the judicial system needs a taste of liability for their decisions
