      are the 2000 ships stranded right now getting resupplied with food, medicine, and fuel? Is there a resupply option without without them swamping ports?

      Im worried about the people on those ships. They are going to get desperate.

      Brent crude price, the benchmark for oil prices, is at $123 USD at the time of this comment. I checked the Google historical chart of the brent crude price, and it looks like it hit a high of $112 during Russia’s invasion of Ukraine back in 2022.

      WTI (West Texas Intermediate, american oil price) is at $109 and climbing.

      Everyone buying oil futures was thinking that when it was time to cash in there was a chance it could be high or a chance the blockade would be over and the price would be low.

      So they were splitting the difference, paying half way between what the price would be if the blockade ended and what it would be if the blockade persisted.

      But the blockade has been persisting and looks like it will be indefinately.

      So the artificially lower price we’ve been enjoying because everyone was speculating that the blockade might end is itself ending and prices are climbing to where they probably should have been on day one of the Iran war.

      People like him are making millions while the rest of us waste more and more money just to get to work and stuff. If there wasn’t oil to make money off, we wouldn’t be at war with Iran.

      Trump spent a year raging about Biden and BRICS only to turn around and speed run the end of the petrodollar and Pax Americana.

      He basically telegraphed his intentions thru the entire campaign trail. Just watch clips of his accusations against his opponents to see what’s coming. Next think you know we’ll be so poor and destitute that we’ll be eating the cats and the dogs.

      Can’t help but think this is the outcome he wants. He wants to destabilize the world’s fuel supply. Everything he’s done on the world stage supports this.

      He ran for offfice with the slogan drill baby drill. To expand American oil production. 

      He has done everything possible to prolong the war in Russia/Ukriane by consistently changing sides of who he supports.

      He has flexed his ability to control the Venezuelian oil fields. Going as far as kidnapping their president.

      And now he’s been destabilizing the middle east fuel supply.

      This is all to convince people to invest into American oil production.

      Fun fact- the War Powers Act only allows unauthorized military actions to go on for 60 days, after which they are illegal. Trump’s 60 days is up on May 1st. Violation is an impeachable offense.

      Nothing will happen, but that’s a thing.
