This is a bad map. No explanation of what means what.

Edit: if there was a legend, it would be better

the United States is the only permanent member of the UN Security Council that has not recognized Palestine

  3. It should be noted that Eastern European countries recognized it under the communist rule.

  4. I’m always surprised about the size of that little thing in middle east that causes so much caos.

  5. Germany trying not to be on the wrong side of history again challenge (impossible)

Italy doesn’t recognize Palestine, but Tuscany and many cities support the recognition (Turin, Bari, Cosenza, etc.)

  7. Well, all those countries recognize a Palestinian state, but the Palestinians themselves don’t want it.

  8. While many countries are recognizing Palestine, Israel may follow suit — but only after Hamas has been completely dismantled and the region depopulated. /s

    ✌🏻Ceasefire now. Free Palestine.✅

*Countries that recognize the State of Palestine, in the West Bank, as the legitimate government of the West Bank and Gaza.

This is “full diplomatic relations” which is merely a formality. US relations with the PLO were functional until Trump kicked their mission out.

Easy to do in theory, but few of them actually are willing to put boots on the ground to free them from Iran. Until then, this will be virtue signaling at its finest, while refusing to actually do the hard things required to disarm hamas and give Palestinians an actual chance at a state.

And still Europe did a show of „recognising“ Palestine last year like it was some groundbreaking event.

  15. This is purely performative. It doesn’t help Palestine in any way until Israel (and by extension, the USA) recognizes it.

There is literally no reason not to recognize it. It is a native population with the right to self-determination in territory that has been occupied by Israel for 60 years. It is occupied Palestinian territory, meaning it is up to the Palestinians to decide, not Israel.
