  1. Stiles deserves way more. The Ontario Liberals don’t have a leader, appointed two shite leaders that have failed miserably the last two elections.

As someone who doesn’t usually agree with the NDP party, I’d be more than willing to shake things up a bit and vote for the NDP.

    >They (OLP) lead in Toronto (44%) and the 905 (43%).

Toronto it is 44 to 28%. That’s clean sweep in Toronto.

905 it is 43% to 37%. That’s big enough lead to win the election

I don’t see how any of this polling matters at all for like 3-4 more years? They have a super solid majority until then so what does public opinion even matter, realistically?

  4. Doug calling that snap election looks smarter and smarter (for him). Unfortunately for Ontarians who want to see him gone, he’s got 3 years at least left in this Parliament.

As a federal Conservative supporter couldn’t be happier to see Ford and the OPC falling in the polls. I hope to see Ford sewer the OPC for a generation.

  6. Canada has spoken, we want continued Liberal leadership and demand more of what happened the last decade for the next one. We’re happy with the state of Canada!

It is something that the scandal that really affects Ford and his base is of all things an expensive plane that he didnt even float a trial balloon of.

Probably with the affordability crisis that the spotlight on it is expanded to the point where even his base is not liking it.

  8. ONDP & OLP should just join forces at this point. provinces like BC MB SK AB have managed to function just fine with one major left of centre party, we don’t need both. The OLP is chameleon enough of a party, just look at Kathleen Wynne vs Bonnie Crombie, that I doubt they’d have objections as long as they were able to win.

The question will be if the PCs fire Ford/ he resigns before next Election

We’ve seen the OPC lead big in polls before despite Ford being extremely unpopular

Does this indicate that a new leader can win back voters?

  10. Good, let the numbers get to a point where caucus revolts and throws him out. I hope he loses another 10% this month. Let his numbers start to look like the Federal Conservative Party.

Really hope the OLP pick a leader with a sane head on the shoulder and not go with some one like NES who I’ll definitely set them back with the swing centerists voters and hand power back to the PC’s
