    1. Where as in a green world what would be the point of having ambition or trying to make something of yourself?

As this lot would just take most of it from you and hand it over to people who CBA to get off their lazy ass in so so many cases

I’d love green or SNP to show even the slightest idea of a back to work plan rather than just take take take form people who who have made something of themselves – even at a much lower level then Offard has

Nothing says „Party of the working class“ like six house, six boats and five cars.

      „Stop the boats!!“

Only in Britain can such people have the front to portray themselves as men of the people.

Also four black acquaintances, three Russian donors, two Panama Papers, and a holiday home in Barcelona.

    5. Didn’t he say he wanted to run as „Malcolm from Greenock“ at one point?

Man of the people. He understands when there is no food in the cupboard. But can’t understand why people don’t just go to a decent restaurant when that happens

To play devils advocate. The message he is trying to get across is that he is self made and we need to stop putting barriers in the way of other people being able to pull themselves up and take advantage of social mobility. That is a good message and in essence true. We should all have the opportunity to be successful.

My problem is with that is generally the highly successful people I have met like him are all incredibly selfish and have no concept of the greater good, only what will benefit them.

The Greens on the other hand see someone who is successful and want to take that success and redistribute it to help the poor.

My problem with that is that the greens see success as morally wrong. Rather than making changes to help people improve their own lives the Greer and co want to pick an acceptable level and drag everyone to it. Which entitles the disasters and punishes everyone else.

There is a balance between the two, it’s called the centre.

This is so wrong, he needs and additional car so at least the numbers all agree. Jeez these guys can never get it right come on pump those numbers up so they equal!!

    9. Ah yes, the 0.1% percent are definitely looking out for the man on the street.

    11. What an absolute bellend to say that on TV. Sounds like a poor version of Donald Trump.

    12. Let’s be honest, is there a Scottish politician who isn’t raking it in? The Scottish like to blame the English but the truth is they have been getting sold out by their lord’s and politicians long before the Union.
