The tone deaf besavior of the Trump administration and their Republican enablers is heartbreaking.

They are running this country into the ground woth bad decision after bad decision. Republicans appear to support this. They are all vile people

The question is: are they going to tear it down or are people going to be like we can’t waste a good building.

To those who don’t want to tear it down at least find a good use for it. Maybe a museum of American slavery or transgender history or something like that.

Yes.  More of this.  Pair it with a plan to address the cost of living e.g. putting government in charge of oil and gas production to keep price way down.

  4. Motor_Somewhere7565 on

She’s right and gas prices just went back up above $4. Republicans really REALLY want to lose in the midterms so they can take the coward’s way out

„Hey shits expensive and trump wants his gilded turdbunker for millions of YOUR money“

Trump makes the robber barons of the gilded age look like socialists in comparison. It’s actually absurd how much bullshit the American people are willing to take from these criminal oligarchs.

  7. Lindsey Graham is up for reelection. I hope they come up with a good attack ad about how he supports spending almost half a billion dollars for a ballroom while cutting health care, science, etc.

My kindergartener needs to go through active shooter drills in school. They dress it up and don’t call it that but it is what it is. Every time I go to the mall or the grocery store or the movie theater I’m cognizant of the other people around me and the exits.

This is the environment Trump, his enablers, the NRA that supports him, and Republican voters have created. Honestly, fuck your ballroom. If you don’t feel safe welcome to the club. I suspect it’s how most women and children feel in your presence all the time.

Best part: her Democratic state is also subsidizing most Republican states too.

I make 6 figures and COL gas become so hi my family is living paycheck to paycheck. Even 2-3 years ago we were so much more comfortable and that was right after the pandemic so thats saying something. My grocery bill alone is almost $300 a week.

The assassination attempt was so staged to push through the ballroom/bunker agenda of money laundering.

Those “donors” could pay the $400M without blinking. He wants to saddle US with the debt. It’s not about the $. It’s about screwing us into the dirt. Most of us hate him, but He hates ALL of us. Piece of shit. The ballroom is BS. It’s all about the bunker so he can hide when the mob or law(yeah ok) comes for him.

Do they have an actual paper copy of the bill when they read it in congress? I ask because I feel the only appropriate action would be to shit on it. And I mean literally take the bill from the podium, place it in the center of the house, pull down their pants and literally shit on it.

The dude just attended a UFC fight but is supposedly worried about outside events.

  17. Am I the only one who remembers when the primary selling point of this thing was that it would be 100% privately funded?

We just blew right past that eh?

    And Nero plays the fiddle.

We truly are witnessing the downfall of a nation. Really does suck.

  20. If people could see how patriotic it is to starve and freeze in service of a national security bullet proof ballroom….

Ok that probably isn’t going to change that many minds.

Sadly there isn’t much that is going to impede the construction of this ballroom

She ’s right. We’ve officially entered the „let them eat cake“ phase of America.

Something to think about; Trump has shown that the president has the authority to tear down the East Wing and build a „wedding venue“ without anyone’s consent. That would mean that whoever comes after Trump would have the authority to tear down the ballroom and put something architecturally compatible in its place, without the need to obtain anyone’s consent. The security installation can stay.

It’s privately funded, unlike the multi billion dollar scams in Minnesota & California which were taxpayer funded.

Republican logic dictates a ballroom for every school in the united states
